NetHire Machine Operators (VMC) - CNC controlled Vertical Machining Centers Brampton xxxx3 Openings exist for VMC Operators at our manufacturing operation located on Lakeshore Rd. East in Mississauga close to the Etobicoke border. Transit is nearby. About 20 mins from Brampton up hwy 410 to Cawthra, to Lakehore. The candidates must be prepared to work on 3 basis shifts. Primary duties: Operation of CNC controlled Vertical Machining Centers including tool changes and offset adjustments Operation of manual and semi-automatic machine tools such as Cleveland Multi Head Tappers and cut off saws Responsible for carrying out in process quality control checks during production to ensure that product being manufactured meets quality standards Follows quality system procedures and work instructions Follows Health and Safety procedures and works in a safe manner Weigh counts, labels parts and records production transactions into computer system Responsible for maintenance and cleaning of machines Performs specific duties as directed by the Supervisor/Production Manager These are full time positions required to meet increased production demand. The starting pay rate is $19.40 per hour, increasing to $21.55 per hour after a three-month probationary period. Shift premiums are $0.75/hr for afternoon shift and $1.05/hr for night shift. Benefits are available after completion of three-month’s probation. Successful applicants will be team players, able to communicate effectively in English, with proven hands on mechanical skills. Employees with superior analytical, problem solving and mechanical ability may be selected for training to function as setup/operators.
